I painted the sunset on the River Ribble last night from the bullnose of Preston docks. I can’t believe I’ve lived here all my life and never been there before. I was looking on Google Maps for some locations to paint, as you do, and I noticed the strange shape of the bullnose on the satellite image. It’s a really sharp bit of the docks that juts out into the water. Worth a visit if you’re ever in the area.
