The weather was beautiful today. I love the shadows the low winter sun casts. I found this nice little view on Blackleach Lane, Salwick with this olde worlde garage with the little pumps outside. I was bloody freezing after standing in the shade and not moving for two hours though. I didn’t quite finish this so it’s another one for the studio…
As a side note, I recently bought some thermal socks from M&S that say on the packaging they’re perfect for “extreme cold weather”. My feet were numb by the end of this painting. Today was cold but it was hardly baltic! Think I need to invest in some better ones for December onwards… 🧦
