Hong Kong Paintings

I haven't posted on my blog for a while as I've had a lot going on. I was recently in Hong Kong for family reasons but I managed to get out and do some plein air work while I was there. It felt strange being back there after so long and the covid measures still in place meant I had to wear a mask outside while I was painting.

I was disappointed in quite a few of the pieces I did. I think it was because I knew my time was limited out there and there was so much visual stimuli I wanted to paint, that I tried to get too much into each piece and ended up just being overwhelmed and pushing paint around the canvas.

Anyway, that being said, there are a few I'm happy with. Here are the paintings I did while I was there. I'll post proper photos of them soon.

Thanks for looking.
